Refund & Return Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all subscription payments made to Skoo Technologies for the Basic and Pro plans. The Free plan involves no payment and is therefore not subject to refund provisions.

Because Skoo is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform and not a physical product, the concept of "returns" does not apply. Instead, this policy covers refunds and cancellations.

2. Free Trial / Free Plan

The Free plan is available indefinitely with no payment required. There is nothing to refund. Schools on the Free plan may upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

3. 7-Day Refund Window (Paid Plans)

If you are not satisfied after your first payment on a Basic or Pro plan, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the date your account was activated.

Eligible for refund: Request made within 7 days of activation
Eligible for refund: Account has been used for fewer than 50 student records
Not eligible: Request made after 7 days from activation
Not eligible: SMS credits already consumed (SMS costs are passed through at cost)
Not eligible: Yearly plan after the 7-day window has passed
Not eligible: Account suspended for violation of Terms of Service

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email [email protected] from your registered admin email address
  2. Include your school name, subdomain, and the transaction ID of your payment
  3. State the reason for your refund request (optional but appreciated)
  4. We will review and respond within 2 business days
  5. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the same payment method used

Refunds for JazzCash / EasyPaisa are returned to the same mobile wallet. Bank transfer refunds require your IBAN and account title, which we will collect via email.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your dashboard billing settings.

  • Monthly plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. You retain full access until then. No partial-month refunds.
  • Yearly plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual period. No pro-rated refunds after the 7-day window.
  • After cancellation, your school data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted (see Privacy Policy).

6. Activation Failure

If you made a payment but your account was not activated within 24 hours (Mon–Sat, 9AM–7PM PKT), you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the 7-day window. Contact us immediately at [email protected] with your transaction ID.

7. Plan Downgrades

Downgrading from Pro to Basic, or from any paid plan to the Free plan, is permitted at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference in plan pricing for the current period.

8. Disputes

If your refund request is denied and you believe the denial is incorrect, you may escalate by emailing [email protected] with "REFUND DISPUTE" in the subject line. We will review within 5 business days. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under Pakistani consumer protection law.
