A teacher with five sections checks hundreds of MCQ sheets by hand after every test — matching each answer to the key, counting, adding. It is slow, mistakes creep in, and nobody has time to see which questions most of the class got wrong.
OMR machines solve this for boards, but they need special sheets and cost far more than a school can justify. Skoo uses the phone the teacher already has and paper the school already buys.

Choose class, subject and number of questions, then tap the correct answers or type them in one line (ABDCA…). A paper made with Skoo's paper generator can bring its key with it.

One sheet per student with their name and QR code, plus blank sheets for new students. Plain A4, black and white, any printer.

Use the Skoo mobile app to snap sheets one after another, or upload photos and scans in bulk on the web.

Skoo shows the score and highlights blank, double or faint marks. The teacher taps to correct, saves, and can send scores to exam results.

Good to know
- Students should fill one circle completely with a dark pen or pencil; ticks and crosses are flagged for the teacher rather than counted.
- Photos need all four black corner squares visible and reasonable light. If a photo can't be read, Skoo says so and asks for another.
- Changing the answer key after checking re-marks every saved sheet automatically.

Can I check MCQ answer sheets with a mobile phone?
Yes. With Skoo you print answer sheets on plain A4 paper, and after the test photograph each sheet with the Skoo app. It reads the filled circles, identifies the student from the QR code and calculates the score in seconds.
Do I need an OMR machine or special OMR sheets?
No. Skoo's sheets print on ordinary A4 paper with any printer, and the phone camera replaces the OMR scanner.
What happens if a student fills two circles or leaves a question blank?
Skoo does not guess. Blank, double and faint marks are highlighted on the review screen so the teacher can confirm or correct them before the score is saved.
Is AI used to read the answer sheets?
No. Answer sheets are read by measuring the darkness of each printed circle in a straightened image. This makes results repeatable and means there is no per-sheet AI cost.
Can scores go into report cards?
Yes. Checked scores can be sent to the chosen exam subject in Skoo's exam module in one click, where they count towards the report card.
