Why most schemes of study are finished by March
A scheme of study is usually typed once from last year's file: equal weeks, every chapter the same length, and no idea that the school has two lessons of Computer a week, a vacation in the middle and mid-terms in week nine. By the time the exam comes, half the class is still two chapters behind.
Skoo builds the plan from facts. The number of lessons comes from the timetable, holidays come from the national and provincial calendar maintained by Skoo, exam weeks come from your school calendar, and longer chapters get more lessons. AI only writes the wording for each week — which teachers can edit.

Choose the textbook once
In Settings → Curriculum, adopt the class's textbook from Skoo's library. Its chapters and topics are added to the subject in one click.

Pick class, subject and term dates
Skoo shows the calendar it will use: lessons per week, holidays and exam weeks it found — before anything is created.

Build the scheme
Chapters are shared out by length, topics spread across weeks, a revision week is placed before the exam, and AI writes each week's focus, activities and assessment.

Teachers mark weeks as taught on the web or the mobile app, and one tap plans the week's lessons with the AI lesson planner — using that week's real days.
Textbook library
Skoo's team imports textbooks so schools don't retype contents pages. Each book's chapters, topics and learning outcomes are reviewed before schools can use them.

- The number of lessons and dates are calculated — AI is not asked to guess them.
- The textbook library grows as books are added. If your book is not there yet, you can add chapters for the subject yourself and still build a scheme.

What is a scheme of study?
A scheme of study (also called a scheme of work) is a week-by-week plan of what will be taught in a subject over a term or year — which chapter and topics each week, activities and how learning will be checked.
How does Skoo create a scheme of study automatically?
Skoo counts the lessons available each week from the class timetable, removes public holidays and the school's exam weeks, divides the textbook's chapters by their length across those lessons, adds a revision week before the exam, and uses AI to write each week's focus, activities and assessment. Teachers can edit every week.
Does it know Pakistani holidays?
Yes. Skoo maintains national and provincial public holidays, and applies the ones for your school's province. Your own school events and exam dates are taken from the school calendar.
Can teachers use it on mobile?
Yes. In the Skoo app teachers open the scheme, see the current week highlighted, mark weeks as taught and create that week's lesson plan with one tap.
Which textbooks are in the library?
The library is built by Skoo's team from textbook PDFs and grows over time. Every book is reviewed before it is published to schools. Schools can also enter chapters themselves for any subject.
