Fee challan and counter software for Pakistani schools
Skoo lets an accountant search a family, take one payment for all the children, and print one receipt. Challans can cover one month or up to twelve, and the defaulter list shows who is how many months behind.
The counter
Type a name, father's name, admission number, phone number, challan number or father's CNIC. Skoo opens the family card with every child, every open challan oldest first, any advance balance, and the total due.
Enter the amount received. Skoo pays the oldest dues first across the children. Any extra stays as an advance. The family gets one receipt with its own number, the school's name and logo, in English or Urdu. Print it or send it on WhatsApp.
Skoo groups children by father, using the father's CNIC first and the father's name if there is no CNIC. Two fathers who gave the same phone number are not mixed into one family.
Challans
- Check first: before you make challans, Skoo shows how many are new, how many already exist, the amount, the arrears, and what advance will be used.
- One challan for several months: two to twelve months on one challan for bi-monthly or quarterly schools.
- One student on demand: make a single challan for a new admission or a late joiner. A month that already has a challan is not doubled.
- Print copies 1 to 3 with names you edit, one to six students per sheet, portrait or landscape, on A4 or Legal.
- Tick challans to print, remind or cancel together. A challan that already has a payment is kept.
Fee setup
Fee setup is one grid with classes down the side and fee heads across. Type the amount in the cell. To raise fees you pick a percentage and a rounding, choose the classes, and see the preview before you apply. You can also copy one class to another.
A student can have their own monthly fee in place of the class fee. Set it one by one, or paste admission numbers and fees from Excel. Sibling discounts are suggested from the family list.
Defaulters and reminders
The defaulters tab lists every student past a due date, with months behind, amount, oldest due, last payment and last reminder. Filter by class, section or months. Remind the ticked students or everyone in the list. Skoo skips anyone reminded in the last three days and tells you who had no phone number or no consent.
The risk score on the dashboard comes from the last six months of invoices. It is a simple rule based score, not a prediction.
Payments, statements and the parent view
- JazzCash payments are live. Cash, bank transfer and cheque are recorded in the same ledger.
- An advance settles open challans straight away. A challan never takes more than it is worth.
- Every student has a fee statement: each challan, payment, refund and cancelled challan by date with a running balance, printable in English or Urdu.
- In the Android app the accountant has Counter and Defaulters tabs. Parents see a family total and each child's challans with month and due date.

Good to know: what it does not do
- EasyPaisa is built but not live yet. It is waiting for merchant account verification.
- Skoo does not predict who will default. It scores overdue and part paid invoices.

Can I take fee for all the children of one father at once?
Yes. Search any child, open the family card and enter one amount. It settles the oldest challans first and prints one receipt.
Can one challan cover more than one month?
Yes. Choose two to twelve months when you generate or make a challan.
Can I print four challans on one page?
You choose one to six students per sheet, the number of copies, the direction and the paper size.
How do I find a student with the same name as another?
Search shows father's name, admission number and class together, and flags students with the same name.
Can parents pay online?
Yes, with JazzCash. Cash, bank transfer and cheque are recorded by the accountant.
