Hostel, canteen, inventory, health and reception in one system
Besides academics and fees, Skoo covers the daily running of a school: hostel rooms, a canteen with student wallets, stock and assets, the infirmary, and the front desk. They use the same student records, so nothing is typed twice.
Hostel
Set up hostels and rooms with a capacity and a warden. Allot a student to a room and vacate them when they leave. The hostel fee is added to the student's challan.
Canteen
Add menu items with prices and mark each as available or not. A student has a canteen wallet that staff top up, with a daily spending limit. A sales report shows what sold.
Inventory and assets
- Stock items with quantities. Adjust the quantity when stock comes in or goes out.
- An asset list with location and condition: New, Good, Fair, Poor or Disposed.
Health room
Record infirmary visits with the student, the symptoms, the treatment, who attended and whether the parents were told. Keep a vaccination record with the vaccine, the due date and the date it was given.
Reception
- Visitors: log the name, CNIC, purpose, the student they came for, time in and time out.
- Gate passes with the person, the reason and who issued it.
- A call log with the caller, the purpose, who it was passed to and the action taken.
Good to know: what it does not do
- The canteen has no payment gateway. Wallet top ups are recorded by staff.
- Skoo does not order stock for you. It keeps the count.

Is the hostel fee on the same challan?
Yes. A student in the hostel is charged the hostel fee on the monthly challan.
Can parents top up the canteen wallet?
Not online. Staff record the top up.
Can I see which students have had a vaccination?
Yes. Vaccinations are recorded for each student.
